  1. Ron Chan began his career working in Kansas City for a "large, well known, greeting card company"; 
  2. After one year there, he returned to his native San Francisco to start a successful freelance career. In 1984, 
  3. he also began working part-time at The San Francisco Chronicle where he was seduced by the Macintosh. 
  4. One year later, all his illustrations were done on the Mac. At the end of 1989, he left the Chronicle to 
  5. freelance full time. Currently, Ron works out of his home in Mill Valley, CA, his artwork now appears 
  6. around the world whose list of clients include Strathmore, Visa, ITT Sheraton, Macworld Magazine, Estee 
  7. Lauder, The Kennedy Center, Sun Microsystems and many others. He has done lectures on his artwork 
  8. and technology from Oslo, Norway to Sacramento, CA.  A recipient of many awards including The Print 
  9. Regional Annual and CA Illustration Annual, he has been profiled in Communication Arts, How, Step-
  10. by-Step Electronic Design magazines and other design journals.
